J Public Relations is a public relations agency specializing in luxury travel hospitality with a global span across five continents. The award-winning agency is experienced in digital & social strategy, content creation & management, media relations, influencer connections, brand collaborations, creative programming, trend-spotting and so much more. I was fortunate enough to complete the social media post graduate internship at this inspiring women-founded agency. The agency was growing their social team and I was the first social media post graduate intern in the San Diego office. I completed a five month internship with the agency from June 2019 to October 2019, and had the opportunity to work on seven luxury hospitality accounts.

JOB DUTIES:

  • Reactive + proactive community management

  • Flagged reviews (negative + positive), daily engagement, answered questions for community management

  • Crafted community management guides

  • Handled creation of instagram stories

  • Contributed to Friday updates + stayed up to date on social trends

  • Created biweekly updates and metric reports

  • Tracked follower growth weekly

  • Sat in on all client meetings and internal meetings + took detailed notes to send to team

  • Developed editorial calendars

  • Requested all UGC

  • Created content grids (feed mock-up)

  • Developed content mission shot lists and itineraries

  • Researched models and influencers for content shoots

  • Created influencer lists

  • Created social media recaps
